Christ Followers, as we continue to embrace God’s Rock-solid Eternal Spirituality Today that tells us precisely how to “BE strong in The Lord and in His mighty power,” we receive a powerful spiritual practice that, sadly, is ignored by all too many Saints of God, and here it is:
If you want to R.E.S.T in being strong in the Lord, and in His mighty power, you must daily get dressed. You must “Put on the full armor of God.”
And if you do not do so, there is absolutely NO way you can stand up, and be an overcomer, when Satan schemes, or lies, or deceives. Without getting dressed your spirituality will be anemic and your walk with the Lord will be a struggle.
I know it is easy to believe the demonic lie that getting dressed is NOT necessary for for being blessed with the ability to be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. But God is telling us we must do so. Or we will walk through our day naked, vulnerable and unprepared for fully being free in the Lord.
You wouldn’t start your natural day, as you prepare to live everyday, without putting your clothes on. Failing to put your clothes on, before going out the door, is ludicrous. I submit to you, that failing to practice this spiritual practice of Ephesians 6:11 (Ephesians 6:10-20, ) is even more ridiculous.
Why not R.E.S.T in the spiritual direction of our Lord, and why not Armor Up, or get dressed
My prayer is that each day you will be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. My prayer is you will, daily, put on the full armor of God to be able to stand against the Devil’s schemes. I pray this in Jesus Name. Amen š
