Rock-solid Eternal Spirituality Today spells out a vital truth many Christians have quit believing or, at the very least, do not take very seriously. Jesus says it as follows: “The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come that you may have life to the full.” John 10:10. Jesus also describes this enemy “A murderer.” And Jesus says this Devil “has no truth in him.” Finally, He describes him as “a liar and the father of all lies, who when he lies he speaks his native language. ” John 8:44
Therefore, when we make mere flesh and blood humans as our enemies, we are setting ourselves up to crash and burn. Read the scripture above, at the beginning of this blog, and all those fancy words are describing the Devil, demons, fallen angels and evil spirits; yet, the majority of people, even in all too many churches, fail to acknowledge the murderous and deceptive power of these evil ones or that they even exist. So, rather than R.E.S.T, these same people unnecessarily experience duress and stress.
