Today we want to R.E.S.T as THE Evil Day comes.
Supernatural Activity
As we look at our October 30th blog, and then we view our November 8th Blog, it’s clear there is a whole lot of Dark Supernatural Activity that is taking place daily, and we need to be aware of it sooner than later: Why else would the Holy Spirit move through the Apostle Paul to tell us to suit up, or get dressed, to address the demonic stuff where the Devil’s schemes are front and center? Why else would this Holy Spirit empowered exemplary spiritual warrior warn us to clearly identify our enemy, rather than incorrectly blame mere flesh and blood humans. Human beings are only symptoms of the demonic? Yes Indeed devilish enterprises are in overdrive in the 21st Century as much as they were in 1 AD.
The Day of Evil
Yes, becoming strong in the Lord, and in His mighy power, to stand against the Devil’s schemes, getting fully dressed, or armored up, and identifyinf the enemy are, all three, completely essential. Why? “When the day of evil comes, we want to be able to stand, and after we have done all we can, just stand.” When does the day of evil come?The Day of Evil is here today.
Listen to the Apostle warning us, as he describes the day of evil that will happen in “the last days.” See if the description of these days seems familiar:
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men commited shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error; furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil greed and depravity. They are full of murder, strife, deceit, and malice. They are gossips, slanderers God-haters, insolent arrogant a boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. Although they know God’s righteous decree, that those who do such things deserve death, they only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. Romans 1:26-32
“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3. without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self control, brutal, not lovers of good, 4. treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God — 5. having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5
Or how close to our time does this sound: “For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around thema great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 2 Timothy 4:-4
Samples of What Jesus Says About This
Here are a few examples of what Jesus says the day of evil will be like: “Watch out tha none deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am theMessiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earth quakes all over the world. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Brothers, and sisters will be handed over to be prersecuted and put to death, and will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time, many will turn away form the faith and will betray and hate each other. And many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increacse of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And the gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world, as a testimony to all nations, and the end will come. Matthew 24.
In A Nutshell The Evil Day =
If we were to break down, in briefest form, what The Evil Day looks like it could be summed up on one sentence: What is evil is good, and what is good is evil. Yes, in this evil day, God’s holy morality is reversed by the wicked who get this from the source of all wickedness. And this is demonic. All the signs in the earth’s climate are blamed on global wamring rather than God’s judgement against this wicked time. Such wickedness is bringing on the current spiritual war predicted by the Ancient Wisdom of The Holy Bible. God’s righteous ones need the Supernatural Spiritual Weaponry to be able to stand, and having done everything to stand.
How Can We Stand Our Ground In This Evil Day.
We do so by becoming strong in the Lord, and in His mighty power. We do so in order to be able to stand against the lies and deceptions that are govering our days, which include turning sin into civil rights, calling evil good, and calling good evil. We do so by recognizing God’s judgment on the planet rather than believing the blather about climate change and global warming. We need to know that the Devil is REAL, and that he is the source of all this madness. We need to know we CAN stand up to him … IF.. we take seriously God’s spiritual directive to intentionally, daily, go through the process of putting on the complete armor of God. We are not to leave one part out that is described by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:10-20. Then, and only then, when we interact with evil, throughout each day will we be able to stand our ground. This is how we set the stage to R.E.S.T in this evil day. This is how we thrive, as we expereince Rock-solid Eternal Spirituality Today.
