False Fact Checkers

Over the last few years so called “Fact Checkers” have been exposed as bold face liars who manipulate information by describing actual truth as disinformation.  Or they propagated brazenly untrue “facts,” as reality, which they were not. There are too many to highlight; however,  the rebranding of Twitter to X exposed a plethora of algorithm induced falsehoods. Some other examples include Mark  Zuckerberg recently confessed how he went along with Democrats leadership. It seems the current administration got META to manipulate data for the White House, to defeat President Trump. This continues on search engines like Google. They keep a truth seeker , like my biblically oriented self, from finding information that reports accurately the sinful behavior of W O K E activities. This blocking of free speech, and the free flowing of all ideas, is a threat to our Constitutional Republic, and these deceptive practices will destroy our already one sided so called “democracy.”

My B I B L E

For a long while, the best selling book has been, and still is, the Bible. Of all books, no other book has stood the test of scrutiny by scientific research, historians and archaeologists. Some call it Basic Information Before Leaving Earth. It is, indeed, that and much more.  It provides more than mere basic information until we die. It provides us with God’s Eternal perspective:  It helps us journey through life, into eternity, with God’s beliefs, God’s opinions, God’s assumptions, God’s Thoughts, God’s expectations, God’s interpretations and God’s way of evaluating the stuff of life. It helps us feel with the heart of The Almighty. It helps us live our lives in keeping with with God’s goals, objectives and desires until we live fully, eternally and  alive, as we  fulfill  our God given purpose by His empowering grace.

Simply Put The Bible IS The Ultimate Fact Checker

You cannot believe everything you receive on – or from- TV, the radio, through podcasts, any of the few newspapers or magazines you may read, or anything you get on line- except this blog of course 🙂 However, you can completely trust in God’s Word.  Someone once said, God said it, I believe it, and that settles it.” This statement is not true.  For God said it! That settles it. I better believe it! Nothing is more true than The Holy Bible.

Experience R.E.S.T. in this vital, and eternal, reality. Hold on tight to God’s Word. Let it govern your life. Let it be your perfect reporter of the truth. Then you will experience

From Doubt To Faith

A man was desperate for a miracle for his son.  Jesus’s Disciples failed miserably. His son was being tormented. Dad and son must have been completely in despair when Jesus walked up on them in the middle of a spiritual malaise, which left the grieving parent feeling hopeless: After all, if Jesus Disciples had failed, could anything be done to help his son?

To Believe or Not Believe

Jesus asked a question. He  waited for an answer from the Dad. The Dad then asked, If you can,  help us help us. Jesus responded, “If you can … ” Then He declared the truth which says, if we believe all things are possible.  The Dad sorta thought he believed, but he must have still had a lingering doubt somewhere deeply hidden away in the inner recesses of his soul: If you read the entire story you will easily see what I mean.

Check The Story Out: Mark 9:14-29

Think about it : While he answered Jesus in the affirmative, he also clearly indicated he  was struggling with the negative. And it  is here he provides us with a spiritual practice that even can still help us today.   He said, “I BELIEVE!” Now, listen prayerfully to his follow up request: ” Help me overcome my unbelief.” And God granted his request.  He did overcome his unbelief. And his son became free!

The Challenges

First, don’t let doubt creeping into your walk, with Jesus, defeat you.

Second, be honest about it. Admit, to the Lord, your struggle with unbelief.

Third, sincerely pray this honest seven word prayer:   “I believe! Help me overcome my unbelief. ”

Finally, let go and let God be in control

Then, Experience R.E.S.T.

Seven Reasons We Experience R.E.S.T In The Word of God.

If anything in the universe will help you experience Rock-solid Eternal Spirituality Today,  it will be the very Word of God. And here are seven reasons this R.E.S.T, WILL occur,  if you embrace it by faith:

Here Are The Seven:

1. All Scripture is God Breathed. Or it is given by inspiration of God, and it is inspiring to bring pure Heavenly enlightenment to your life. Vs. 16a. What a wonderful promise this is! Few things are better than to live inclined, motivated and empowered to follow Gods lighted path throughout your journey. To have God breathing His will into your life  will help you make your best choices.

2. It is profitable for Doctrine: Vs. 16b This is God revealing what He wants us to know, to be, and what we are to do. Through the Word of God, or knowing what God expects, helps us to possess His mind. 1 Corinthians 2:16. This leads us to becoming what He want us to be . And this opens our life door wide open to walk through the door, and it prepares us to do what God desires.

3. It’s profitable for reproof: Vs. 16c.This is God telling us what He wants us to stop: It’s easy to , without God’s guidance,  to really mess up our lives, and maybe other people’s lives. The evil one loves for Christians to foul up. Think about it: Evil is L-I-V-E  spelled backwards; however,  if we allow the Word to inspire us with God’s  “NO” we will be guided away from things harmful,  unhealthy or unholy.  This is God’s Divine protection at its best. His loving stop signs secure, and they order our lives. His “Thou Shalt Nots” save us.

4. It’s Profitable for correction: Vs 16d. The Word is like what we, today,  call our GPS. If we are off course,  God uses it to bring us on course.  If we get off course,  God uses it to correct our course. His Word keeps us on course.  And so, we trust in the Lord with all our hearts,  and we don’t lean on our understanding.  We acknowledge Him, and He directs our path. He uses His Word as one way of getting us to where we need to be here on earth and on our way to Heaven.

5. It’s profitable for instruction in righteousness: Vs 16e. I say He instructs us in rightwayness.  He instructs us in how to live, and how to live in the right way. Yes, contrary to what the politically correct Secular Humanist say, there is a right way to live.  And there is a wrong way to live. God is the decider on what is right,  what is  wrong,  what is holy, what is unholy, and on what is healthy or unhealthy. He reveals the truth about all this in His Word… The Word of God

6. It’s profitable for perfecting us: Vs. 17a. God uses His Word to grow us so that, as John Wesley said, “We go on to perfection.” VS. 17a. Jesus said, “Be ye perfect as I am perfect. ” see Matthew 5:43. Hebrews 10: 14 says “By one sacrifice, He has perfected forever those whom God is making Holy.” This perfection– that is in God’s sight —  and in which we are growing, is seen in Romans 8:28-29. Here we see that no matter what happens in our lives God uses it to make us, like little sisters and brothers of Christ who are being formed into Jesus’s image. Hallelujah!

7. Last, but not least, it is profitable –Vs. 17b — to thoroughly be furnished to do  every good work. We who have been Saved,  Sanctified,  Perfected in God’s sight, or  as The Apostle Peter says, “we have all we need to live godly lives!” 2 Peter 1:3 NIV. God supplies all our needs according to His riches in Glory. –Paul.  His Holy Spirit empowers us through the Word of God, in Jesus Holy Name, to have the stuff to be enough.

Please,  dear reader, Meditate on these vital eternal 7 truths. Embrace them line by line, and then find R.E.S.T, God’s Holy Scripture. Let God help you to experience …
