True Liberty
True liberty is a gift from God. The Lord Jesus bought and paid for this liberty by:
[1] His shed blood (Hebrews 9:12)
[2] His sacrificed body (Hebrews 10:10)
[3] Perfecting us in God’s sight (Heb. 10:14)
[4] Transforming Us (Hebrews 10:15-17)
[5] Giving us an intimate relationship with God, through Jesus. (Hebrews 17-23)
Standing Firm In Freedom
Yes, we are free, HALLELUJAH! At the same time, we are told, “Stand firm, then, and don’t let yourself be burdened by a yoke of slavery. [Gal. 5:1b] How?
We stand firm by these spiritual practices:
Get Up
Give Up Romans 12:1-2
Put Off deeds of darkness and cloth ourselves IN Christ: Romans 13:11-14
Put On the Armor of God. Eph. 6:10-20.
Then you will R.E.S.T. In True Freedom.
